The aim of the General Education Research Institute is to strengthen the research capacity of the field of humanities and social science, under the domain of general education. To fulfill this purpose, our institute conducts policy research as well as various related projects. In so doing, we hope to play a part in creating a new platform which nurtures creative and integrative future talents, called upon by the 21^stcentury integrative-industrial society.

Some of our efforts to enhance the quality of university general education includes conducting academic and integrated education research, proposing policies and research on general education, facilitating domestic/international academic exchange on general education, organizing special lectures and symposiums, and publishing academic journals and research papers. We hope to grow as a key institution in the field of general education that supports a wide scope of research activities.
